The Senior Adult ministry of our church is called "The Keenager Ministry" and is for those over age 50.  The Keenagers meet in the Fellowship Circle on the second Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. with a lunch meeting and a program.  The members and guests often share a covered-dish meal at the meetings.

The motto of the Keenagers Ministry is "Not to be ministered unto, but to minister," (Mark 10:45) (KJV).  Our Keenagers volunteer widely, both within and outside the local church, in such ministries as nursing, care-giving, homebound visitation, gardening, legal support, missions, travel, teaching, and church maintenance and repair.

In addition to the above, the Keenagers also contribute to the church's worship through choir, orchestra, handbells, and musical ensembles.  The Keenagers have their own Joyful Praise choir, which performs on special occasions.  Together, our Keenagers contribute significantly to the atmosphere of love, joy, and enthusiasm throughout our church.

The scripture text of the Keenager ministry is John 13:35, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."  Anyone interested in participating in the meetings and ministries of the Keenagers should call the church office at (706) 866-0232
