At First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe, we believe spiritual growth happens best in community. Our Growth Groups provide biblical teaching, meaningful discussion, and Christ centered fellowship for every stage of life. We would love to help you find the class that fits you best.

Sundays

9:30 AM & 6:00 PM

Our Adult Growth Groups provide a meaningful opportunity to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, build lasting relationships, and connect with others in our church family. Classes meet each Sunday at 9:30 AM, followed by our Worship Service at 10:30 AM. With a variety of classes available, there is a place for everyone to study Scripture, grow in faith, and experience life together in Christian community.

We also offer a Young Adult Life Group that meets Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, providing a space for young adults to gather for biblical discussion, encouragement, and fellowship. Each group is committed to faithful teaching, meaningful conversation, and building strong, Christ-centered relationships.

Wednesdays

5:30 & 6:30 PM

Wednesdays are a meaningful time of fellowship and spiritual growth at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe. Our men gather early each Wednesday morning at 7:30 AM at the Fort Oglethorpe Panera. A men’s discipleship class meets on campus and virtually at 11:30 AM.

In the evening, a women’s class begins at 5:30 PM, along with our churchwide meal, providing an opportunity to gather around the table and connect as a church family. Following dinner, we offer men’s and women’s small groups at 6:30 PM focused on biblical study and encouragement, along with a senior adult prayer meeting in the Fellowship Circle. Together, these opportunities provide consistent ways to refocus our hearts, strengthen one another, and grow in Christ throughout the week.

Doing Life Together

Year-Round

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of special gatherings designed to strengthen fellowship and encourage spiritual growth among our adults. From Men’s Breakfasts and Man Church events to Women of Joy Conferences, Ladies Teas, and Keenager outings, these moments provide meaningful opportunities to grow in Christ while building lasting friendships. We also enjoy game nights, outings, and seasonal events that allow our church family to connect beyond Sunday mornings and serve the Lord together with joy.
